Dr. Kim Nugent Selected for IAOTP’s Top 25 Global Impact Leaders
Kim Nugent was recently selected to be featured in the 1st Edition of Top 25 Global Impact Leaders by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP) for her outstanding leadership, dedication, and commitment to the industry.

She will be recognized for her extensive professional experience spanning over three decades. Dr. Nugent has consistently excelled and progressed in every role she has undertaken. She currently holds the position of Founder at Kim Nugent Enterprises LLC. Dr. Nugent has an extensive background in various leadership positions within the hospitality and education industries. Her experience spans from managing hotels to overseeing educational institutions at both regional and national levels. Her previous roles include General Manager of the University Hilton Hotel, Divisional Manager of Hilton Inns, Inc.; Campus President, VP of Education Operations, Regional Vice President and VP of Faculty Development for the Education Management Corporation; and Metro President for DeVry University.
Before embarking on her career as an Innovation Leadership Coach, Dr. Nugent earned her Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management from the University of Houston, a Master’s of Business Administration at the University of St. Thomas, a Master’s in Education-instructional Design and Online Learning from Capella University, Master’s in Human Resources Management from Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University, and her Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Houston.
Besides her successful career, Dr. Nugent is a sought-after lecturer, speaker, and best-selling Amazon award-winning author. To date, Dr. Nugent has written and published eight books. She coauthored a book with Dr. Eric Goodman, titled “From Teacher to Leader: Paving the Path to Education Administration”.
Throughout her illustrious career, Dr. Nugent has received awards, accolades and has been recognized worldwide for her outstanding leadership and commitment to the profession. In 2022, she was selected to be featured in IAOTP’s 50 Fearless Leaders Publication Vol 2. Over the years, she graced the front cover of TIP (Top Industry Professionals) Magazine, showcased on the renowned Reuters Billboard in Times Square, NYC, and was honored as Empowered Woman of the Year by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP). Looking back, Dr. Nugent attributes her success to her perseverance, the mentors she has had along the way, and staying passionate in all her business endeavors. When not working, she enjoys hot yoga, traveling, and spending time with her family.
