Elves origin story, The Orphans of New Amsterdam, launches Kickstarter Campaign
The Orphans of New Amsterdam is an up and coming holiday web series containing 25 illustrated, narrated, 5 minute chapters that will be available online. It is the origin story of Santa’s elves, packaged as a video Advent calendar. It is the story of one orphaned boy, one Christmas wish, and the story behind one of the holiday’s biggest myths. To introduce this holiday web series project to the world, the creators of this project have recently launched a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter, and they are welcoming generous support and backing.
“The Orphans of New Amsterdam is at last, the holiday story everyone has been waiting for, the origin story of the elves.” Said Jason Allred, while introducing this project to the Kickstarter community. “If you love Christmas and if the thought of a new holiday tradition makes you wish it was already December, this is your chance to help us create a gift worthy of sharing. Families are sure to love the engaging imagery and heartwarming story,” He added. This project is the creation of Jason Allred and Jonathan Richardson, who are not only college buddies and soccer teammates, but they also share a desire as well as the skills to create and share stories that connect people.
