The serial award-winning product developer, and column writer, Jon M. Quigley PMP (204278) CTFL, will be moderating a panel session at the prestigious Manufacturing Southeast X.O. The Manufacturing Southeast X.O is an event for industry X.O leaders designed to host all the US manufacturers. This time, Manufacturing Southeast X.O will host Southern-based manufacturing leaders who will share their knowledge of leveraging competitive edges provided by technology and advancing digital technologies. For the most part, Jon is among the leading industry drivers in team development, product development, and project management. He is the principal and founding member of Value Transformation, a product development and cost improvement firm established in 2009.
With an Engineering Degree from the University of North Carolina and 2 Master’s Degrees from the City University of Seattle, he has acquired over 30 years of experience in product development and manufacturing. Within these years of experience, he worked his way up to being an expert in handling embedded hardware and software through verification and process, as well as facilitating team learning through project management.
Jon has won multiple international and national awards, including the Volvo-3P Technical Award in 2005 and the 2006 Volvo Technology Award. As a global influencer, he has been on the Western Carolina University Master of Project Management Advisory Board and the Forsyth Technical Community College Advisory Board. As an author and contributor to over 15 books on product development and project management, he has written for universities worldwide.
More so, as an expert column writer, he writes three recurring columns: PMTips Quigley and Laucks Expert Column, Assembly Magazine; Ps and Qs on project management and quality, and Automotive Industries; Quigley’s Corner on automotive product development.
