MegaMind Media & Kountry Wayne Entertainment are pleased to announce that they will be joining forces to produce a new comedy/horror film in Atlanta, Georgia. The new movie which is titled In love With A Ghost will be directed by Carl Payne (Starz) known for his role as Cole ( Martin) and is scheduled to have cameras rolling in the first quarter of 2022.

In addition to confirming that In Love With a Ghost will be starring Kountry Wayne, B. Simone, Mike Bless, and other comedians, both companies have also announced a casting call for 3 specific roles in the new movie. Interested actors and actresses who feel they have what it takes to do justice to the characters are encouraged to reach out to the producers for a scheduled audition. The roles up for grabs are;

• LINDSAY – a flamboyant, cross-dressing male ghost, who along with his sister Candice (who is also a ghost), continues to wreak havoc on anyone that comes across his presence. Lindsay is an African American who loves wearing tutus and has twerking skills that will put Meghan Thee Stallion out of business. He soon dances his way into Chip’s life, who is forced to grapple with the fact that not only was he receiving sexual favors from a ghost… but an unattractive ghost in drag.

• CLARENCE – is an odd-looking, African American man in his 50’s. He works for the Fastest Moving Van Company and has to deal with Deshawn and his frugal ways.

• KANDI – is a 30-year-old unbothered and ratchet receptionist for Raymond Talbert.

The Executive Producers, Tressa Azarel Smallwood, Kountry Wayne, Jermaine Smith, and Don Lee have expressed their excitement about the new project and reaffirmed their faith in the storyline as well as its potential to perform exceptionally once it hits the screens. 

The famous American standup comedian, Kountry Wayne is also an actor, former rapper, and internet personality. Although Kountry became insanely popular for creating short sketch videos for his Instagram account, @kountrywayne, the TV star has also featured in several motion pictures including Holiday Heartbreak, The turnaround, and Brazilian Wavy.

Tressa “Azarel” Smallwood on the other hand, is an award-winning Book Publisher, Movie Producer, and Founder of MegaMind Media – a production company that specializes in creating compelling original content for female audiences. Tressa has produced over fourteen films including Secrets, Sinners Wanted, Holiday Heartbreak, All In, and The Available Wife. The female filmmaker is also an advocate for women’s issues and recently partnered with BETHer to produce The Waiting Room and The Couch – a series highlighting mental health and breast cancer awareness. Her work and casting information is often highlighted on her social media platforms @ceoazarel.
