Googly Eyes Watch is a unique goofy watch that aims to make people happy with its fun crazy design.

How about a watch that would bring a big smile on the face every time one checks the time? Sounds too cool to be true, right? Well, Paris-based innovative watchmaker, Origami Watches has recently launched its latest unique goofy watch collection on Kickstarter which is specifically designed to put a beaming smile on the face of the user every time s/he checks the watch. Titled “Googly Eyes Watch”, the watch comes with a crazy funny face in the dial instead of boring hours, minutes, seconds hands found in regular watches.

The FIRST-of-its-kind, the Googly Eyes Watch is uniquely designed to resemble the shape of a human head. The face of the watch features a fun goofy face with two Googly Eyes that rotate to tell the time.

“The world has been passing through terribly trying times for the last year and a half. We all have been so bogged down in panic and tribulations that most of us have almost forgotten to smile. But, that’s not ‘living’ exactly- we need to bring back the spirit that would make us feel alive again. This is where our cool crazy Googly Eyes Watch speaks of hope. It’s strategically designed with a goofy face and artwork that will always bring a smile to your face whenever you look at it to check the time. We believe, with its hilarious design, Googly Eyes Watch will do its bit to rekindle fun and positivity in our lives that we all have been missing out on for quite some time now”, stated JJ Casalonga, Origamist, Watch lover, designer, and the founder of Origami Watches.

The Googly Eyes Watch collection comes with 4 wild characters- Googly-Eyed Mustache Guy, The Googly Skull, The Googly Penguin, and The Hilarious Vampire.

As mentioned above, the Googly Eyes Watch doesn’t have an hour, minute, and seconds hands. The pupils on the dials serve as “hands” that indicate the time while the eyelashes on the watch face act as an hour and minute markers. There is no hand or indicator for seconds.

“We want you to break free of the bondage that keeps you on the edge every second. Life is all about enjoying the little treasures found here and there – and thus, you need to forget about the ticking seconds at times and take a pause to stand and stare. It’s such an ethos that led us to relieve our watch of the traditional second’s hand.”

But, how to tell the time with Googly Eyes Watch?

Casalonga assured it’s a very simple process and works almost like that of other watches. The user just needs to know that the left and right pupils are the hour and minute markers respectively. Each of the pupils comes with respective markers (as with any other watch), beginning with 12. To know the time, one would simply have to line up the pupils on each dual with their specific eyelashes and Voila!
