Ally’s Animal Project is donating pet food to owners in need of assistance to care for their animals. The mission of her organization is to increase the awareness of animal related issues and promote animal kindness worldwide.

Miami, Florida – August 11, 2020 – At the age of 16, when most of her peers are happily engrossed in their digital pursuits, Ally Gold has taken upon herself to pursue a very worthy cause. She has received certification as a 501-C3 Non-Profit entity for her “Ally’s Animal Project”. Alyssa has over 1000 community service hours from Miami Dade Animal Services. She has fostered multiple dogs/puppies and has bottle fed newborn kittens around the clock to keep them alive until old enough to be adopted.

On more than one occasion, she saw pet owners come in to surrender their pet supplies after they had passed-away. Ally thought, “The people who lost their pets just looked so sad and empty. I just wished there were something I could do for them to take away their sadness. So, I went home and looked into making heart bracelets with a nice poem for people in this situation.”

This is when “Forever in Your Heart Bracelets” was created. Alyssa created a kit of 40 bracelets and went straight back to Miami Dade Animal Services and asked them to give the bracelets for free to people who have suffered a recent loss of a pet.

Ally said, “I can’t think of anything more painful than losing a pet. I know the bracelets will not bring their pet back, but it will let them know someone cares about them and the pain they are experiencing. Hopefully, the bracelets will bring a smile to their face every time they are reminded of their pet”.

While the “Forever in Your Heart Bracelets” are free, Ally has designed a line of meaningful bracelets that she sells and uses 100% of the proceeds as a method to raise funds. This has enabled Ally to send free pet food to people financially affected by the Coronavirus Pandemic. She has sent a 6-month supply of pet food to over 100 families in 10 different states. This has prevented many families from surrendering their pets back to the shelter.

Ally made these comments recently, “During these difficult times we know that many pet owners have been impacted financially and are in need of assistance to feed their animals. Please don’t surrender your best friend! Ally’s Animal Project is donating pet food to owners in need of assistance to care for their animals.”

You can find Ally’s Animal Project on Instagram @Allys_Animal_Project. Here she tries to promote animal kindness with quotes and photos of animals weekly. Her webpage AllysAnimalProject.org tells the story about her mission. It also has a donation link, a link to the “Forever in Your Heart Bracelets” and a retail site for animal/love/kindness merchandise that 100% of proceeds will benefit shelter animals. There is a short form to fill out for pet owners to request free pet food.

In addition to fostering, Alyssa has spearheaded campaigns to raise money for the animal victims of Hurricane Dorian and created a drive to collect shampoo and towels for Miami Dade Animal Services when they experienced a critical shortage.

Alyssa plans to become a veterinarian in the future and hopes to attend the University of Georgia Veterinary Camp this summer. In the meantime, she plans to continue to spread kindness to animals in any way she can. One thing for sure, this young lady can accomplish anything she sets her mind to.
