Draco Credit Consultants is a credit consultation company based in California. The Fil-American-owned company was established pursuing the goal of helping improve the credit literacy of the Filipino community residing in the US.

This November, Draco Credit Consultants Inc. becomes one of only eighty-nine credit consultation companies in the US to have been granted accreditation by the Better Business Bureau. The coveted accreditation is given only to businesses with a demonstrated record of excellence and integrity with observance to ethical practices. In Southern California, it is only the fifth company in the same industry to receive the said accreditation.

The company founders see this achievement as a key milestone, reflecting on their humble beginnings. Draco Credit Consultants owners started their credit consultancy simply as a way to help their fellow Filipino immigrants. They saw that many Filipinos struggled with a lack of knowledge about credit management and often end up in financial quandaries.

One of the founders, Bonjie Militante, first came to the US in 1984 with nothing but $200. After going through several setbacks, he found success upon venturing into a career in the insurance industry. As the years went on, Bonjie partnered with his daughter, Therese, with his business endeavors. This father daughter duo made use of their expertise in financing and credit by aiding other Filipinos who needed counseling and advice.

At that time, their services were purely a way to give back to their countrymen as they were also engaged in other businesses. However, they soon realize the overwhelming number of people in need of their assistance. This led them to the decision of redirecting their priorities and to establish Draco Credit Consultants Inc.
