From 1991- 2005 he served on the Board of Governors as the representative for the Tennessee Trial Lawyers Association for the 6th District of Tennessee. Thomas is also a member of the Tennessee Association for Justice, Trial Master, and the American Association for Justice. Thomas also wrote an article entitled “Automobile Liability in Tennessee” which was published in Trial Magazine.
